Called out by a customer after an alternative drainage company (name not being disclosed), made a very costly mistake and high pressure water jetted the wrong direction from the manhole chamber and flooded the bathroom resulting in waste being sprayed on the ceiling!
Insurance had to be called and arranged a loss adjuster but in the mean time the drain was still blocked. Professional blocked drains Newcastle quickly located the manhole externally blocked and proceeded to clear. Once the system was free flowing the clean up began! Engineers doned the correct PPE and entered the bathroom with high volume wet vacs to remove all the over spill. All surfaces were sanitised just in time for the insurance to arrive.
Lesson learnt by Mr X, lack of experience in the drainage industry is a costly mistake.
